Portland, Oregon

Award-winning craft beers, dining and music

Population: 609,456

It inspired a hit TV show. Not to mention award-winning craft beers and dining, a world-renowned music scene and guys with really long beards. Portland is in the center of it all for both culture and outdoor recreation. After grabbing a morning latte downtown, you could be skiing powder a little over an hour later at nearby Mount Hood to the east or surfing in the frigid waters of the Oregon Coast to the west.  Portland is also home to the Portland Timbers Soccer Club, of which Hampton is a proud sponsor.  Go Timbers!

Oregon’s largest city has gone by a variety of names like: Stumptown, Rose City, Rip City and Bridgetown. But as the base of our headquarters we call it something else—home. This is where our sales divisions coordinate with our mills and reload locations to get orders to our customers.

Facts:
  • Portland’s Forest Park is the largest wilderness park within city limits at over 5,000 square acres.
  • Portland loves its craft beers—the city has more microbreweries than any other city in the world.
  • Portland has been named one of the top places to live by Fortune, Forbes, Outside and Sunset Magazines.
