This past summer, Hampton Lumber reaffirmed its commitment to the Cowlitz community through a series of impactful donations that support youth, education, and the arts. From classrooms and playing fields to county fairs and community theaters, Hampton’s contributions aim to help strengthen the fabric of rural life in Lewis County.
At White Pass High School, Hampton contributed over $1,000 toward scholarships and youth sports, including the volleyball, cross-country, and soccer programs. These opportunities give students the chance to learn teamwork, discipline, and perseverance while preparing them for future success. Hampton also provided $1,000 to the Onalaska School District for classroom safety supplies, helping ensure students and teachers have a safe, supportive environment for learning.
Agriculture plays a central role in the Cowlitz Valley, and Hampton is proud to support the next generation of farmers. This year, $6,750 was invested in the Southwest Washington 4-H Junior Livestock Auction, giving local youth the opportunity to showcase their hard work, gain valuable business experience, and reinvest in their future education and agricultural projects.
The arts also play a vital role in building vibrant communities. Hampton continues to support the Fire Mountain Arts Council in Morton, WA, with a $25,000 donation which provides access to live theater, art education, and cultural events that bring people together and inspire creativity across the Cowlitz Valley.
Hampton has operated two sawmills in Morton and Randle, WA since 1999. By investing in youth, education, and the arts, Hampton Lumber and community partners aim to ensure that the Cowlitz Valley remains a place where families can thrive for generations to come.
