Portland, OR – Hampton Family Forests has acquired two additional Eatonville timberland tracts in Pierce County, Washington. Combined, these tracts include 23,000 acres of timberland that were formerly part of Hancock Resources’ Kapowsin tree farm. Both acquisitions are adjacent to Hampton’s existing Eatonville timberland tract and increase the company’s ownership in Washington to nearly 53,000 acres. In addition to the Washington timberlands, Hampton also owns roughly 88,000 acres in Oregon.

The Eatonville timberland tracts will be managed to support the company’s two sawmills in Lewis County, Washington.
